To start this new photography series, nothing better than my own country, that has so much to see! By the end of that road you can see an island, Pessegueiro Island, at the Alentejo’s coast. I took this photo in 2012 on my way to Algarve, by the coast, with my parents, nephew and niece. By… Continue reading Visiting Pessegueiro Island, in the south-west coast of Portugal
Some of the most famous railway routes cross entire continents, and for the majority of us time to enjoy properly such an epic trip isn’t easy to have. It isn’t easy to take a full month for holidays, and even though one only needs 7 days to cross Siberia, to enjoy it properly it’s better to take a few… Continue reading 5 Epic Railway Routes in Europe
Being back from an adventure through the Balkans, it’s time to start writing about it. My first article of this series is about the route I took from Zagreb to Athens, the places I passed through and the reasons why.
Stonehenge is one of the most enigmatic and known monuments in the world, also one of the 21 finalists of the New 7 Wonders and without a doubt a place to visit, not only by those interested in archeology, but certainly by everyone.
It is time for more Red Bull Cliff Diving! This year’s series already had a few jumps, and again this year one of the amazing stops was the Islet of Vila Franca, next to São Miguel Island, in Azores. And without realizing, I almost saw another jump but this time in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they’ll jump from the historical… Continue reading The Red Bull Cliff Diving event in Inis Mór Island

The Wild Atlantic Way is an Atlantic route through the coast of Ireland, also the longest coastal touristic route in the world. The reason why it’s called “Wild” is because this rote wasn’t planned to be touristic, nor was changed in any way for that. It is literally a real and unchanged experience through the coast of… Continue reading Exploring the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland
A few months ago I went to Eastbourne to visit some friends that were living there. London is definitely the most visited place in England, even all UK, but this time my destination was the south. Less crowded, more country side, more like “me”.
Not always traveling is for business or tourism, people travel for all unimaginable reasons and one can’t expect the return of such experience. I went to Sweden to visit a close friend, I wasn’t expecting to do much tourism, my goals were set to have a good time with a good friend and everything else… Continue reading Visiting Stockholm and Norrtälje for a weekend escape
My trip to Romania was a bit different than usual. My sole goal was to be with friends and not tourism. However I still had time to travel a bit and get a feel of the vibe in Bucharest.
I’m going to start a new kind of posts, posts where I’ll share how I did pack for Romania and how wise or not I’ve been. Romania was my last trip, I arrived back home last Wednesday, and I think I learned a few things with that trip and how to pack.
The weekend of November 23rd/24th I spent in Killarney, I’ve passed through the town a few times but never actually stayed a whole day there. I did it finally, the town is the start/end of the Ring of Kerry Route and it should be properly appreciated.
This was my second time in London, though the first one being described on this blog, because this experience really has to be shared, as it was quite traumatic for me in a good and a bad way, since the first minute… Some of you are already used to my “misadventures“, my Interrail is probably one of… Continue reading A chaotic second time in London
Amsterdam is like the European Las Vegas, “our” sin city where everything can happen…, or at least most of the people hope so. Unfortunately the city is mostly known for the drugs and sex liberation, probably more than half of the tourists go there because of that same thing which, as I said, it is… Continue reading Visiting Amsterdam for a few days with friends for the first time!
A long weekend in Oslo, and another country to my list, the 15th, Norway! And I already have the flights booked for the 16th and 17th! The 17th will also be my first country outside Europe!
